Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean and repair sewer lines and the sewer system.
• Use rods, nozzles and high-pressure hoses to remove clogs and flush sewers.
• Assist with installing new sewer lines and system upgrades.
• Backfill around pipes, manholes and inlets; tamp fill.
• Operate equipment such as air hammers, pumps and compressors.
• Clear catchbasins, culverts, drains and ditches.
• Maintain fences and clean streets as needed.
• Apply de-icing chemicals and manage snow removal.
