Job summary

The City of Saint Michael is seeking a qualified Utility Worker to perform a broad range of duties across the sewer collection system, lift stations, and stormwater infrastructure. A valid CDL with air brake/tanker endorsements and an MPCA Class S-D or higher certificate are required, along with a high school diploma and two years of utility experience.

Candidates must maintain a good driving record and have lift station maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in utility operations.
• CDL with air brake/tanker endorsement required and lift station maintenance experience preferred.
• Class S-D or higher MPCA certification is required or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operate all functions of the city sewer collection system (lift stations, wastewater collection, storm sewer, and other public works/utility activities).
