A Sewer Inspector (CCTV) performs specialized and technical work in the operation of a TV truck and associated equipment and supervises a crew of Equipment Operators and/or Laborers. An employee in this class determines the condition of sewer pipes and the location of stoppages and/or breaks in the pipes. An employee in this class also performs routine and preventive maintenance on the closed-circuit TV camera and other electronic equipment. Incumbent can work as an Operator or Laborer on the Storm or Sanitary Crew. Work is performed independently in accordance with well established guidelines and standards. The employee handles routine and difficult situations and only refers emergency problems to the supervisor. Work is reviewed for accuracy through results achieved. Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is considered an essential position with varying shifts to include holidays, nights, weekends, and reporting during inclement weather.
Salary or Salary & Benefits: $51,424 - $69,423, depending on qualifications.
