Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a laborer to perform manual duties related to sewer and concrete repairs, sewer cleaning, and general facilities maintenance. Under supervision, you will operate pumps, inspect manholes, and assist in maintenance while following safety rules and training.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience. You will work in varied environments, with opportunities for first aid/CPR certification and CDL training within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use tools and operate equipment per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in safety training.
• Set up, operate, and repair pumps, compressors, and related equipment.
• Inspect and maintain manholes, sewers, tanks, and pumps.
• Clean pump stations, tanks, and related facilities.
• Inspect deep tunnels and assist in maintenance as needed.
