Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
• No professional work experience required
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training provided by the District
• Medication administration training provided by the District
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities, including adapting the curriculum to individual student needs; deliver curriculum to individuals and small groups.
• Implement accommodations and modifications outlined in students' IEPs; maintain progress and behavior records with licensed staff.
• Assist with materials, tests, attendance, and classroom events (e.g., fire drills).
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
