Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe education needs under licensed staff supervision. You will assist with curriculum adaptation, materials preparation, progress monitoring, and ensuring a safe learning environment both in-person and remote settings.

Responsibilities include implementing IEP accommodations, assisting with tests, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments require two years of college, an associate’s or higher degree, or demonstrated knowledge per local standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Deliver curriculum to individuals and small groups; track progress and records.
• Prepare materials, administer tests, and assist with paperwork and events.
• Support online/remote learning with tech access and assignment completion; assist DHH students if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
