Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe educational needs under licensed staff supervision. You will adapt curriculum for individuals and small groups, monitor progress, and maintain achievement records.

In addition to in-class support, this role involves implementing IEP accommodations, assisting with materials and tests, and providing behavioral and technology support in remote learning settings when needed.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Ability to modify curriculum for individual students.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain progress and behavior records and report observations to the IEP team.
• Assist licensed staff with materials, tests, attendance, and documentation.
• Support students in online/remote settings and assist with technology access.
