Responsibilities

• Pull and set molds for production jobs.
• Prepare auxiliary equipment and stage materials for next jobs.
• Troubleshoot process parameters and resolve issues during job setup.
• Stage all materials and equipment prior to the setup of the next job
• Maintain the setup priorities on the dispatch list
• Minimize press downtime due to setup
• Complete setup/startup/job paperwork as required by ISO 16949
• Complete Line Clearance procedure
• Communicate with operators, process technicians, changeover, and quality assurance as to the status of the job
• Troubleshooting of process parameters on poorly performing jobs
• Startups as determined by the Supervisor
• Coverage for Process Technicians as required
• Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate
• Attend training as required.
