Sonoco Products Co. in Charleroi, PA is seeking a Set Up Operator for the second shift (Tuesday–Friday 4:30 PM–3:00 AM) with occasional overtime on Mondays. The role focuses on safe operation of production equipment, machine setup, quality checks, and supporting the manufacturing process to meet plant goals.

Responsibilities include palletizing, labeling, data recording, and assisting others in a fast-paced facility. A mechanical background is a plus and a shift differential applies.

Responsabilidades

• Set up machinery in the production process.
• Manually catch bundles and palletize products.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Observe equipment operations and report malfunctions.
• Lift raw materials, unfinished products, and packed items.
• Count finished products to confirm orders.
• Label identification on parts.
• Load and unload items from machines to conveyors.
• Assist production workers with routine tasks.
• Record production data with dates and times.
• Lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements.
