Job summary

Sonoco is hiring a Production Worker in Merced, CA for the 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:00am, Monday–Friday). Training on 1st shift for ~1 month before transitioning to 2nd shift. Wage starts at $22.96 per hour plus a $0.40 shift premium for 2nd shift.

Overtime and Saturdays may be required. You will work under the Shift Supervisor to safely operate production equipment, support the manufacturing process, and help meet plant goals and customer requirements.

• Catch, bundle and stack partitions.
• Catch strips and feed hoppers properly.
• Determine bad partitions and separate from quality product.
