Job summary

Sonoco Products Co. is looking for a Packer/Production Worker/Laborer in West Chester, OH to support our manufacturing operations. You will pack products, retrieve items from equipment, operate machinery, and monitor quality while collaborating with department teams.

You will make small process adjustments and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. We value reliable individuals with manufacturing experience who can read standard work instructions and perform basic math and measuring;

• Manufacturing experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing.
• Packs product into boxes, retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery.
• Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Assists other departments as needed.
