Job summary

Sonoco Products Co. is seeking a Setup Operator for the 2nd shift in Charleroi, PA. The role reports to the Shift Manager and involves safe operation of production equipment, setup of machinery, and assisting with manufacturing processes to meet plant and customer goals.

The position runs Tuesday–Friday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM, with occasional overtime on Mondays. Wage starts at $28.14/hr plus a $0.50 shift differential; safety and accuracy are emphasized in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a ruler within 1/32" and perform basic arithmetic including fractions.
• Interest or experience in safety rules and operating procedures.
• Able to communicate effectively with others in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Mechanical background is a plus.

Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements.
