Job summary

Wisconsin Converting, Inc. is seeking a Set Up & Maintenance Technician to keep our paper converting equipment running at peak performance. This full-time night shift role offers four days per week and paid training on day shift.

You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, document work history, and contribute to a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on problem solving.
• Industrial maintenance experience (2+ years preferred).
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Machining and fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork mindset.
• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and climb ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over paper converting equipment to meet production needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues including bearings, belts, chains, gears.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment history.
• Assist with machine installations and light facility maintenance.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all production equipment.

This is a full-time night shift position (Monday - Thursday, 40 hours per week) with paid training on day shift to ensure you’re set up for success. If you have strong mechanical skills, love problem-solving, and enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you.
