Job summary

Wisconsin Converting, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance & Setup Technician to keep our paper converting equipment running at peak performance.

This full-time night shift position (Monday–Thursday, 40 hours per week) includes paid training on the day shift to ensure you’re set up for success. If you have strong mechanical skills and enjoy hands-on work, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on ability with tools and machines.
• Industry experience in maintenance (2+ years preferred).
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Machining and fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over equipment to meet production needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues (bearings, belts, chains, gears).
• Perform routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment history.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over paper converting equipment efficiently to meet production demands
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, including bearings, belts, chains, and gears
• Perform routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
• Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment history
• Assist with machine installations and light facility maintenance
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all production equipment

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude – if you love working with your hands, this is the job for you
