Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Set Crew Overhire to support the Set Building Team in creating photo studio scenery for multiple brands. This casual, temporary hourly position requires overtime, evenings, and occasional weekend work to meet daily deadlines.

Responsibilities include striking/installing sets, basic construction, surface prep and painting support, and maintaining shop safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with a team is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in carpentry or fabrication.
• Familiarity with woodshop safety and PPE requirements.
• Ability to operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Strike and install photo sets safely to meet daily production needs.
• Assist with organizing the set component warehouse.
• Assist with construction of set elements from wood and other materials.
• Assist scenic painter with prep work for paint treatments.
• Follow safety procedures and production processes.
• Collaborate with team across studios and operations to solve issues.
