Job summary

Software Placement Group (SPG) is seeking a Field Application Engineer in Raleigh, NC to support servo systems and motion-control products. This customer-facing role collaborates with sales, product management, engineering, and global manufacturing teams to deliver advanced automation solutions.

You will provide technical application support, engage with OEM/ODM customers early in design cycles, and translate requirements into practical servo and power-electronics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0-3+ years of experience with servo systems.
• Experience with power electronics.
• Strong understanding of closed-loop control and industrial applications.
• Ability to communicate with customers, sales, engineers and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application support for servo systems and related products.
• Partner with sales to support key accounts and opportunities.
• Engage with OEM/ODM customers early in design cycles to identify requirements.
• Translate customer needs into practical servo, motion-control, and power-electronics solutions.
• Maintain technical expertise across product lines and provide training and services as needed.
• Coordinate with product management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely deliverables.
• Travel up to 20% including overnight and international.
