Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Field Application Engineer – Servo Systems in Raleigh, NC to serve as the technical product expert supporting servo and motion-control products for customers, sales teams, and internal engineering groups.

You will work directly with customers to understand technical requirements, troubleshoot challenges, and propose appropriate solutions, supporting projects from early design engagement through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0-3+ years of professional experience with servo systems.
• Experience with power electronics.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication.
• Willingness to travel ~20%, including overnight/international travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application support for servo systems and related products.
• Partner with sales teams to support key accounts and customer opportunities.
• Engage with OEM/ODM customers early in the design cycle to identify requirements.
• Understand customer needs and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Recommend servo, motion-control, and power-electronics solutions.
• Maintain technical expertise across product lines and applications.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate with internal engineering teams.
• Support pre-sales and post-sales technical training and services.
• Develop and maintain product documentation and technical materials.
• Coordinate with product management, engineering, sales, and factory teams for timely deliverables.
• Travel to customer and company locations as needed, ~20%.
