Job summary

The Exchange at Fort Benning is seeking candidates for a Management track role that provides on-the-job training under an experienced Manager. The position supports daily service operations across multiple Exchange functions, while building financial and business acumen to run a facility.

Mobility to Eastern Region locations is a core requirement, with relocation benefits possible after program completion. Candidates must complete required training within set timeframes (7 days for contract/

Qualifications

• Mobility required - upon successful completion of Acclimation/Development Program candidates will be relocated to any Exchange location within Eastern Region.
• Relocation benefits may be provided for post program placement.
• Must complete Services Business Manager Contract Administration and Surveillance training within 7 days of placement into this role.
• Must complete ServSafe certification within 90 days of program completion or placement.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the daily operations of service facilities to ensure compliance with Exchange policies, procedures, safety protocols, and operational standards.
• Participates in structured training activities to develop operational, leadership, and supervisory competencies.
• Supports customer service operations by promoting service standards and assisting in the resolution of customer concerns.
• Assists with financial and business operations, including monitoring sales performance, supporting inventory control, cash handling, and expense management.
• Collaborates with the Exchange leadership to identify operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and adaptability while acquiring the knowledge and skills required for placement into a permanent retail management position.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Learns the full scope of managing Exchange services under the guidance of an experienced Manager, through on the job training. The role supports daily service functions (Exchange personal services, retail, food commodity operations, vending, telecommunications, health & wellness, and/or theater operations within designated area of responsibility), while gaining hands on experience in supervision. The candidate will also build strong competency in the financial and business acumen required to run a successful facility.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications are dependent upon targeted role and will align with Exchange standards. Selected associates must affirm mobility and be available for assignment at any Exchange location upon program completion. Associate must complete Services Business Manager Contract Administration and Surveillance training within 7 days of placement into this role. Additional Qualifications/Requirements

Salary Minimum

$54,533.00
