Services Key Account Manager - Data Center Solutions

Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated professional to manage key data center accounts, ensuring excellent service and fostering strong client relationships. This role involves strategic planning, client communication, and collaboration with internal teams to meet customer needs and drive growth.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for key data center clients regarding service-related matters.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to understand their needs.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to key accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve service quality.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide performance insights to clients.
  • Negotiate service agreements and renewals with key customers.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.
  • Develop strategic plans for account growth and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive service offerings.
  • Act as the liaison between nVent and assigned key data center and networking accounts, ensuring positive relationships and meeting business needs.
  • Develop business strategies benefiting both the company and the accounts in the data center space.
  • Manage large, sophisticated global accounts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in training, key account management, and technical project management preferred.
  • Willingness to work remotely with 25% travel, mainly in the US and occasionally globally; valid driver's license required.
  • Knowledge in program/project management preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and self-directed work skills.
  • Ability to develop and recommend solutions with maximum value.
  • Effective presentation and proposal delivery skills.
  • Professional approach to resolving quality and delivery concerns.
