Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Services Director - Automotive and Transportation - REMOTE to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.
In this role, you will lead a services organization focused on delivering scalable, profitable outcomes for automotive and transportation customers. You will own the strategic direction for the services function, ensuring delivery excellence, business transformation, and strong alignment to customer needs. This is a highly visible leadership position with executive-level customer engagement, P&L accountability, and close partnership across sales and presales teams.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $230,800 – $461,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the transportation services organization to deliver high-quality, scalable, and profitable services
• Set and drive the strategic direction for automotive and transportation services tailored to customer needs
• Develop and implement the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including budget and forecasting
• Manage the full services P&L, ensuring profitability and compliance
• Drive business transformation and delivery excellence initiatives within the automotive and transportation sector
• Serve as the primary services executive sponsor for customer partners at the CxO-1 level
• Partner with Sales and Presales to influence pipeline strategy and opportunity qualification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
• 10+ years of services leadership experience in enterprise software, PLM, ALM/SLM, MBSE, or digital transformation
• 7+ years working with discrete manufacturing customers on significant programs
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary delivery teams and complex program portfolios at large enterprise scale
• Experience managing a services P&L, including forecasting and strategic planning
• Strong understanding of digital manufacturing product suites and transportation industry processes
• Sophisticated communication and conflict management skills for executive engagement
