As a Services Account Executive, you are the face of the Professional Services (PS) organization to our clients and our account teams. Your ultimate responsibility is to evangelize and sell our key PS offerings, focused on Consulting and Managed Services solutions. You will work daily with solution architects, clients and NetApp account teams to identify customer needs, map appropriate solutions, deliver customer proposals, and secure contracts for these services. This is a quota-bearing sales position that mixes direct and overlay sales features. You will proactively meet with NetApp field sales and technical sales resources to educate them on our PS capabilities and strategize on where we can enhance opportunities with our offerings. In addition, you will be charged with building key end‑customer relationships and driving service‑led opportunities independent of our hardware sellers. Our ultimate goal is to help our customers maximize their investment in NetApp and their valuable data.
We are looking for aggressive and experienced sales professionals who feel comfortable speaking with customers on topics such as hybrid cloud, automation, business transformation consulting, data management, and data security. You will regularly represent PS as the face of our business inside and outside of NetApp. This position has a base plus incentive compensation structure with the opportunity to over achieve target compensation.
There is ample support in the form of contracts, scoping, and technical teams, but the SAE needs to build relationships with key clients and with NetApp account teams on their own. This can be, at times, a highly unstructured role, so having the ability to manage your own work schedule and workflow is critical.
The target salary range for this position is 197,200 - 255,200 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. We will provide detailed information about the specific benefits for your region during the recruitment process.
At NetApp, we embrace a hybrid working environment designed to strengthen connection, collaboration, and culture for all employees. This means that most roles will have some level of in‑office and/or in‑person expectations, which will be shared during the recruitment process.
