General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) seeks a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead design and development across the ServiceNow platform, emphasizing ITSM and Now Assist. The role requires hands-on coding, integrations, and close collaboration with product owners and platform engineers.

You will design forms, flows, catalog items, and custom apps, participate in Agile ceremonies, uphold best practices, and support upgrades. US person required; office presence at least 3 days/week.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of ServiceNow development in ITSM environments.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in the ServiceNow design and development across our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate has a strong development background, excellent analytical ability, and hands‑on experience with ITSM ServiceNow modules including Now Assist.

As an Sr ServiceNow Developer , your work will directly contribute to the success and stability of our ServiceNow environment. In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain forms, flows, catalog items, integrations, etc.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, process owners, and platform engineers to define requirements.
• Support Agile ceremonies and uphold quality assurance throughout the lifecycle
• Adhere to and enforce ServiceNow and OneGDIT best practices.
• Support platform upgrades, patching, and deployments.
• Participate in Agile software development efforts (standups, planning, grooming, estimation) to ensure quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education

High school diploma required; AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in prompt engineering, Now Assist and agentic AI.
• 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience within ITSM environment
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and platform capabilities
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ability to obtain CSA cert within 90 days
• Extensive experience designing forms, UI policies, client scripts, workflows, business rules, integrations, and custom applications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Must be a U.S. person
• Location: Must be willing to work in a GDIT office a minimum of 3+ (three) days per week

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM
• Certified Application Developer - ITSM
• Advanced ITSM certifications a strong plus
• ITIL v4 Certification

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
