Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior ServiceNow integration specialist to design, develop, and maintain complex integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems. You will operate as a technical SME in integration architecture, ensuring secure, scalable data exchange across platforms.

Responsibilities include building inbound/outbound integrations, data mapping, and maintaining data quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Senior ServiceNow integration specialist with design, development and maintenance of complex integrations.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow ITSM applications per approved design plans.
• Proficient in testing disciplines (unit, system integration, UAT) and performance.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript, XML, HTML/CSS; familiarity with REST/SOAP/web services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST, SOAP, web services, IntegrationHub spokes, MID Servers.
• Develop inbound and outbound integrations including bi-directional data synchronization and event-driven workflows.
• Create and maintain import sets, transform maps and data reconciliation logic.
• Define integration patterns and reusable components aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Ensure performance, security and maintainability of integrations.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and stakeholders to deliver solutions and mentor junior staff.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

We are looking for a senior ServiceNow integration specialist responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex integrations between the ServiceNow platform and external enterprise systems. This role involves serving as a technical subject matter expert in integration architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across various platforms and services.

• Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer and Implementing Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, or Service Catalog, Mobile App, Virtual Agent, integrations
• Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans
• Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
• Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more Web Services, XML, HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP Query for connecting to and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases and AD respectively
• Worked with and understands the value in creating repeatable processes to design development, test, staging and production environments that are reliable with high availability
• Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
• Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences (verbal and written)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop inbound and outbound integrations, including bi-directional data synchronization and event-driven workflows.
• Create and maintain import sets, transform maps, and data reconciliation logic to ensure data accuracy and normalization.
• Define integration patterns, standards, and reusable components aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Ensuring integration follows best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Support CMDB and CSDM alignment by integrating authoritative data sources and maintaining data quality.
• Monitor integrations, implement logging and error handling mechanisms, and resolve complex integration issues.
• Perform performance tuning and root cause analysis for failed or degraded integrations.
• Support system upgrades and platform releases by validating integration compatibility.
• Partner with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers or integration specialists.
• Document integration designs, data mappings, and operational runbooks.

Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 a year
