HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist to oversee the complete software asset lifecycle for a portfolio of publishers. You will ensure license compliance, optimize software investments, and mitigate audit risks, guiding renewal strategies and procurement workflows.

The role requires extensive SAM/ITAM experience, strong ELP expertise, and hands-on proficiency with tools like ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, or Snow License Manager.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of SAM/ITAM experience required.
• Strong experience with Effective License Position (ELP) creation/analysis.
• Hands-on with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, or Snow License Manager.
• Experience managing software compliance programs and audits.
• Knowledge of Perpetual, Subscription, and SaaS licensing models.
• Experience with publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP.
• Exposure to procurement tools like Ariba, Coupa, or ServiceNow Procurement.
• Strong Excel, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain Effective License Positions (ELP) by reconciling entitlements with deployment data.
• Own software compliance activities, including audits, true-up, and remediation of gaps.
• Support audits with entitlement and usage evidence.
• Utilize ServiceNow SAM Pro for discovery, normalization, and license management.
• Drive software optimization via usage analysis and license reclamation.
• Manage renewals, CLM activities, procurement workflows, and approvals.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and support negotiations, including co-termination strategies.
• Deliver accurate reporting on inventory, compliance, consumption trends, and renewal risks.
