KellyMitchell Group is supporting a leading energy provider in Denver seeking a Product Owner II for the ServiceNow Platform. You will maximize business value by maintaining backlogs, guiding Agile delivery, and governing product ownership practices.

The role focuses on collaborating with stakeholders, driving governance, and transferring knowledge across teams in a hybrid Denver environment, with compensation aligned to market pay ranges for service-now product ownership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Management, or Agile delivery.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong backlog management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear priorities for delivery teams.
• Experience collaborating with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain ServiceNow backlogs and prioritize features, enhancements, defects, and technical debt based on business value.
• Partner with business stakeholders, process owners, and platform teams to understand needs and backlog refinements.
• Support sprint planning, sprint reviews, and release planning with clear requirements.
• Review and accept completed work to ensure alignment with business expectations.
• Translate strategic roadmap objectives into actionable work, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Business Analysts, architects, Scrum Masters, developers, and testers to align priorities with platform standards.
• Establish product ownership processes, prioritization frameworks, operating procedures, and governance while supporting knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
