Job summary

STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) is seeking a Product Owner for the ServiceNow platform in Denver, CO. The hybrid position supports the ServiceNow product areas and accelerates platform initiatives on a 12+ month contract.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Management, or Agile delivery.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong backlog management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product backlogs across assigned ServiceNow product areas.
• Prioritize features, enhancements, defects, and technical debt based on business value.
• Ensure delivery teams have a clear and prioritized workload.
• Make day-to-day prioritization and trade-off decisions.
• Partner with business stakeholders, process owners, and platform teams to understand business needs.
• Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and requirement discussions.
• Gath er stakeholder feedback and incorporate it into backlog priorities.
• Act as the voice of the customer throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and release planning.
• Clarify requirements and priorities for development teams.
• Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, developers, testers, and architects.
• Accept completed work and validate alignment with business expectations.
• Partner with Product Manager to translate strategic roadmap objectives into actionable work.
• Help drive adoption, value realization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities across products and teams.

Position Summary

The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing business value delivered across the ServiceNow platform by partnering with business stakeholders, Product Management, Business Analysts, architects, and Agile delivery teams.

This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring priorities are well-defined, backlogs are maintained, and solutions align with business objectives. The Product Owner will support multiple ServiceNow product areas, including Platform Enhancements - SAM/HAM, CMDB, BCM, SecOps, SPM, NowAssist, HRSD etc. and other strategic platform initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

Product Backlog Ownership

• Own and maintain product backlogs across assigned ServiceNow product areas.
• Prioritize features, enhancements, defects, and technical debt based on business value.
