Job summary

NewRocket is seeking a ServiceNow Lead Engineer with ITOM experience to guide a team of software engineers delivering large-scale ServiceNow projects. You will customize applications, enable new modules, and manage integrations across REST/SOAP and internal systems.

You will mentor the crew, drive technical design, and ensure alignment with best practices and client requirements. Strong scripting, knowledge of ITOM, and ability to produce design docs are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in ServiceNow ITOM implementation, admin, configuration or development.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems via REST/SOAP and mid servers or cloud-to-cloud.
• Proficiency with scripting: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder and scripted REST APIs.
• Ability to create technical design docs and user documentation.
• Eagerness to mentor team members and lead technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Interface with end-users and stakeholders to gather ITOM requirements.
• Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new modules.
• Configure UI, workflows, work orders, transfer orders, inventory, and locations.
• Work with Flow Designer, Rules, Scripting and integrations.
• Mentor project crew and provide technical guidance.
