Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an IT Specialist - Business Analyst to join the Information Technology team. The role supports defining epics, user stories, and a product backlog, aligning with stakeholders to drive the roadmap and ensure effective IT processes.

The position requires several years of business analysis experience and ServiceNow proficiency, with a hybrid work arrangement across North American facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in business analysis or a related field working on moderate to highly complex technology projects and programs.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with ServiceNow.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Moon Township PA, Raleigh NC or nearby will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of the desired business outcomes and articulate this vision to the IT team.
• Support the Product Owner team in decomposing epics into features and user stories.
• Support prioritization of the product backlog.
• Support estimation of epics, features, and user stories.
• Ensure readiness of user stories with clear DoR criteria.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team.
• Develop and maintain Process documentation and training materials.
• Design and communicate Process Vision, Roadmap, and Enhancements.
