Job summary

Alldus, acting on behalf of a leading IT services organization in Virginia, seeks a ServiceNow HAM/SAM Developer for a six-month contract to deliver ITOM Visibility, CMDB, SAM Pro and HAM Pro. The role focuses on platform enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement.

You will lead technical discussions with vendors and stakeholders, design and maintain ServiceNow apps, and own end-to-end requests from gathering requirements to deployment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with at least 5 years in hands-on ServiceNow development and administration.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise ServiceNow implementations with ongoing support.
• ServiceNow CSA, CIS-HAM and/or CIS-SAM, and ITIL Foundation v3/v4 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ITOM Visibility, CMDB, SAM Pro and HAM Pro for the client.
• Serve as SME; lead vendor, partner, and stakeholder discussions.
• Design, configure and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows and automation.
• Own enhancements from requirements through testing and deployment.
• Build and maintain enterprise integrations using IntegrationHub, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strengthen CMDB/data quality and governance via CSDM and ITAM best practices.
• Oversee day-to-day platform operations and health.
• Develop technical runbooks and reusable documentation.
• Mentor team members and set development standards.

Our client, a leading IT Services organization, is hiring a ServiceNow HAM/SAM Developer to join their team in Virginia on an initial six-month contract. The successful candidate will help deliver and develop ServiceNow ITOM Visibility, CMDB, SAM Pro and HAM Pro, taking ownership of platform enhancements, automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the implementation partner to deliver ITOM Visibility, CMDB, SAM Pro and HAM Pro.

• Serve as a technical SME, leading discussions with vendors, implementation partners and business stakeholders.

• Design, configure and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows and automation.

• Own enhancements and new requests from requirements gathering through testing and deployment.

• Build and maintain enterprise integrations using IntegrationHub, REST and SOAP APIs.

• Strengthen asset lifecycle management, CMDB data quality and governance through CSDM and ITAM best practices.

• Oversee day-to-day platform operations, troubleshooting issues and maintaining platform health.

• Develop technical documentation, operational runbooks and reusable knowledge resources.

• Mentor team members and define development and administration standards.

Skillset

• At least 10 years' IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in hands-on ServiceNow development and administration.

• A proven track record of delivering enterprise ServiceNow implementations and providing ongoing operational support.

• ServiceNow CSA, CIS-HAM and/or CIS-SAM, and ITIL Foundation v3 or v4 certifications.

• Strong knowledge of CMDB, ITOM Visibility/Discovery, ITAM, HAM Pro, SAM Pro and ITSM.

• Practical experience with Service Catalog, Workspaces, Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

• Strong JavaScript development skills, with experience across Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies and ACLs.

• Experience developing and maintaining REST and SOAP integrations.

• Confident stakeholder communication, with the ability to manage vendors, lead technical discussions and translate business needs into solutions.

• A proactive, independent approach to owning initiatives, resolving technical issues and improving platform capabilities.

• Exposure to CSDM, Service Mapping, Employee Center, Platform Analytics, Azure/AWS integrations, source control or CI/CD would be an advantage.
