Job summary

9th Way Insignia is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for the USPTO. The role focuses on configuring applications, automating workflows, and integrating with third-party systems to optimize ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and CMDB modules.

The Engineer 2 level emphasizes planning and directing research on complex projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering robust configurations with documentation and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server, and OAuth.
• Familiar with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Business Rules.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and their relation to ServiceNow ITSM.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions.
• Customize workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and ACLs.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
• Implement ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and CMDB modules.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and releases in coordination with ServiceNow best practices.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analyst, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and demo completed configurations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design and configuration guides.
• Troubleshoot issues, debug scripts, and provide ongoing support to ensure platform stability.
• Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprints, standups, and retrospectives.
• Stay up-to-date with ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.

Team (Project) Introduction

9thWay Insignia is looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform for the United States Patent and Trade Office (USPTO). The ideal candidate will have experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow applications, automating workflows, and integrating with third-party systems to enhance business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITASM), and other ServiceNow modules.

A ServiceNow Developer aligns within 9th wayInsignia as an Engineer 2. An Engineer 2 typically plans and directs research or development work on complex projects, along with engaging various parties in design and development. Costs and recommendations of new components may also involve part of the job scope. Performs multiple engineering-related tasks in various assignments within the project and firm.

Salary Range

$78,522.52 - $111,784.72 USD
