Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory invites applications for a ServiceNow Developer in the ITSD division. You will deliver full SDLC within ServiceNow, working with developers and a technical lead to analyze, configure, customize, and develop applications to meet customer requirements.

The role supports an Enterprise Secure Network program, with a hybrid work schedule and the flexibility to work from home part of the week. DOE Q clearance is required for citizenship and background checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience in ServiceNow platform development.
• Experience across the software project life cycle including feasibility, requirements, design, implementation, integration, test, and deployment.
• Broad experience implementing IT Service Management applications comparable to ServiceNow platform.
• Experience implementing, maintaining, and/or supporting integrated computing environments in an enterprise environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cross-organizational initiatives.
• Ability to work with limited direction to determine methods and evaluation criteria.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and stakeholders to determine feasibility of ServiceNow use-cases and gather requirements.
• Configure and develop applications in ServiceNow with scripts, workflows, and integrations while minimizing technical debt.
• Contribute to projects aligned with organizational objectives as a collaborative team member.
• Support an On-Premise ServiceNow solution and perform maintenance and updates.
• Interact with personnel across the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
• Develop in an Agile manner using the SCRUM module in ServiceNow.
