Job summary

Steampunk is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform for a federal client. You will help enable ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and related capabilities, ensuring scalable, secure applications and best practices across the ecosystem.

You will collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver robust workflows, integrations, dashboards, and documentation, while maintaining Dev-Test-Prod pipelines and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with scripting, integrations, and module configuration.
Strong understanding of core ServiceNow applications: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge.
Experience with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Service Catalog development.
Experience creating and consuming REST and SOAP APIs for integrations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement solutions that integrate with ServiceNow, including Power BI, custom apps, workflows, and automation.
Develop and maintain client scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, and server/client components.
Create and manage flows, subflows, and automation using Flow Designer and best practices.
Customize and develop Service Catalog items, record producers, workflows, and request fulfillment processes.
Develop dashboards and reports for performance monitoring and analytics.
Maintain platform documentation and ensure security, compliance, and coding standards.
