Job summary

NetImpact Strategies Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst & Quality Engineer to end-to-end analyze requirements and ensure release-readiness for federal ServiceNow platforms.

The role encompasses defining acceptance criteria, building ATF suites, and coordinating UAT with product owners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong experience in ServiceNow testing, ATF, REST/SOAP integrations, and a background in quality engineering, with U.S.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of business analysis and software quality engineering or test automation experience.
• Two or more years of hands-on ServiceNow testing experience, including ATF and regression testing.
• Experience designing risk-based test plans, traceability, and post-production validation.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP or IntegrationHub integrations and cross-system transactions.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow release/change processes and readiness evaluation.
• CSA/ATF training preferred; ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to satisfy High Risk IT background investigations.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business needs, processes, data, user stories, and acceptance criteria for ServiceNow work.
• Maintain themes, epics, features, stories, backlogs, and planning data in ServiceNow or agency structures.
• Support prioritization using business value, risk, dependencies, and effort; expose tradeoffs.
• Facilitate requirements clarification among product owners, users, admins, developers, and testers.
• Own platform test strategy, regression baseline, and release-quality evidence for governance.
• Design, build, maintain, and execute ATF suites for forms, lists, ACLs, and integrations.
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and release-validation tests.
• Coordinate UAT with product owners; ensure traceability to release, defects, and approvals.
• Analyze defects, track remediation, and identify recurring escaped-defect patterns.
• Prepare release evidence including plans, cases, scripts, results, and readiness recommendations.
• Validate upgrade/patch readiness and perform post-production rollback verification.
• Measure automation coverage, regression effectiveness, and test-cycle time; drive improvements.
• Maintain reusable testing guidance and coach teams on ServiceNow testing practices.
