Job summary

New River Systems is seeking a Solution Architect to design DIA’s ServiceNow EAM implementation: the asset data model and lifecycle design, stockroom hierarchy, role and access model, and the reporting specification for DIA’s Enterprise Data Warehouse feed.

You will also lead requirements sessions establishing a first-ever requirements baseline for Terminations, stockroom hierarchy and historical data migration, so that future scope outside this delivery window is costable rather than undefined.

Qualifications

Clearance: Active Top Secret Required. TS/SCI preferred.

We are seeking a Solution Architect to design DIA’s ServiceNow Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementation: the asset data model and lifecycle design, stockroom hierarchy, role and access model, and the reporting specification for DIA’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) feed.

You will also lead requirements sessions establishing a first-ever requirements baseline for Terminations, stockroom hierarchy and historical data migration, so that future scope outside this delivery window is costable rather than undefined.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience architecting ServiceNow Asset Management (EAM/HAM/SAM) solutions, including stockroom/warehouse-style operational models.
• Experience designing data models and lifecycle states for regulated, auditable asset records.
• Familiarity with NSN/FLIS data structures and DoD asset-management data standards.
• Comfortable defining requirements baselines for scope not yet funded, so it can be costed and planned later.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the asset class/category model, stockroom hierarchy, and asset lifecycle states and transitions.
• Design the NSN/FLIS data staging approach, including duplicate prevention and audit trail.
• Design the role and access model, including sanitized views for users needing asset visibility without full attribute access.
• Define the reporting specification for the EDW feed and the baseline reporting framework delivered in Crawl.
• Lead parallel requirements sessions for Terminations, stockroom hierarchy and data migration, producing a written, costable requirements baseline.
• Support Walk-phase design for full receiving-through-issuance capability across multiple stockrooms.
• Document the boundary between this delivery window and future FACTS/CMS/PeopleSoft integration and DoD document-generation scope.

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Success in this role is measured by an approved data model and lifecycle design that the delivery team can build against without rework, and by a requirements baseline that turns undefined future scope into something costable.

• ITIL 4 Foundation

Salary Range: $165-260. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position
