VOLTO Consulting is seeking a ServiceNow Architect remotely for a fulltime role, independent visa holders welcome. You will lead architecture efforts, configure ServiceNow modules, and drive integrations and ITIL-based processes.

The ideal candidate holds a ServiceNow CSA and has strong scripting, testing and cross-functional collaboration skills. Responsibilities include discovery, cloud discovery, MID server management, and the development of reliable, high-availability environments.

Qualifications

• Senior Technical Lead or Architect with ServiceNow focus.
• Experience in ITSM, CMDB, integrations and VA in ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of cloud fundamentals and Windows/Unix admin skills.
• Understanding of infrastructure environments (server/network/storage).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITIL processes.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and testing types.
• Ability to design repeatable, HA architectures and environments.
• Certified Systems Administrator for ServiceNow; Agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Familiarity with SDLC, scripting (JavaScript, Unix shell, PowerShell) and RegEx.
• Proficient with MID servers, discovery schedules and cloud discovery.

Responsabilités

• Understand application requirements and follow development best practices.
• Participate in daily standups and adapt to changes in requirements.
• Ensure code quality and perform unit testing; support UAT.
• Provide training to users on user stories as needed.
• Configure, manage and maintain MID servers and credentials.
• Troubleshoot discovery schedules with device owners and implement cloud-based discovery.
• Design and maintain Service Map, IRE rules, script includes, and business rules.
• Configure event rules, field mappings, alert management rules and flows.
• Create and customize reports and dashboards; coordinate with infra/app teams.

Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

• Experience as a Senior Technical Lead / Architect.
• Experience of ITSM, CMDB, Integrations, VA within ServiceNow

• ITIL V3/V4 foundation certification
• Preferred to have Discovery, Event management, Service mapping certification

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Understand the given application requirements (or User Stories) Understand and follow the Best Practices and Standards/Guidelines for development
• Participate in the Daily stand-up meetings and understand the changes proposed on the requirements / user stories
• Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks in an effective manner, meeting designated standards and criteria
• Responsible for the code quality of assigned tasks
• Perform Unit Testing and do documentation as required Provide support to the users during the User Acceptance Testing
• Provide any required training to the users on the user stories
• Knowledge and ability to configure, manage and maintain MID servers
• Proficient in configure & maintain credentials and working with command line console
• Ability and knowledge in Discovery Schedules & troubleshoot with device owners
• Knowledge to implement Cloud & Tag based discovery
• Ability to communicate & gather requirements from application teams to build Service Map
• Customize/Develop IRE rules, Script Includes, Business Rule, Schedule Jobs, Patterns, Probes & Sensors
• Maintains event management integrations and application
• Proficient in configure/modify Event Rule, Field Mapping, Alert Management rule & flows (Flow Designer)
• Ability to configure de-duplication & correlation ru le

• Co-ordinate with Infrastructure/Application team for requirement and trouble shooting
