Job summary

International Motors, LLC seeks a Technical Service Engineer Consultant to define service methods and create clear workshop documentation. The hybrid role bridges engineering, service operations, and documentation to maximize uptime and quality of repairs.

Responsibilities include developing safe repair/diagnostic methods, writing user-focused instructions, and ensuring documentation keeps pace with product updates. Strong cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience.
Master's degree and at least 1 year of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience.
At least 5 years of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience.

Responsibilities

Develop safe, ergonomic, and efficient methods for repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Define requirements to improve service efficiency, downtime, and usability.
Create clear, structured technical documentation for repair, maintenance, and diagnostics.
Translate complex engineering solutions into practical, easy-to-follow instructions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, production, and service.
Ensure documentation is aligned with product updates and lifecycle changes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of service methods and documentation standards.
