Job summary

Yoh Services LLC seeks a Mid-Level Vehicle Systems Technician (Service Excellence Tech Writer) to develop and maintain service manuals, SOPs, and diagnostics guides for a vehicle systems program. The role emphasizes electrical systems, wire harnesses, CAD navigation, and system-level software rather than traditional mechanical repair.

You will convert engineering requirements and test results into repeatable procedures, document test outcomes, and support root-cause analysis with engineering,

Qualifications

• Automotive experience required.
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical devices, robotics or similar technical fields.
• Lab or shop experience with tools and inventory management.
• Able to work in a team; not a solo position.
• Proficiency with hand tools and electrical test equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, oscilloscopes, power supplies).
• Experience using diagnostic, logging, flashing, or network analysis tools.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals and procedures.
• Ability to navigate and interpret CAD files; CAD design not required.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain service manuals, SOPs, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and technical reports.
• Convert requirements and test results into repeatable service procedures.
• Document test results, repairs, defects, configurations, and corrective actions.
• Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and validate electrical and electromechanical vehicle systems.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, pinouts, and system documentation.
• Navigate CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and model trees.
• Locate components and design information within CAD files.
• Use CAD functions for views, measurements, layers, and navigation.
• Use diagnostic, logging, flashing, and network analysis tools to troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
• Support root-cause analysis with engineering, validation, service, and operations teams.
• Maintain organized lab, shop, vehicle, tool, and inventory areas.
