Job summary

Southern Tire Mart in Ohio is seeking a front desk/service writer to greet customers and explain service options. You will create and manage service tickets, coordinate repairs with technicians, and communicate costs, timelines, and required work to customers.

The role involves processing payments, maintaining records, and keeping the front counter clean while upholding company service standards. Prior sales or service writing experience is preferred for this busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous experience in sales, service writing, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/service management systems.
• Knowledge of automotive or commercial tire services a plus.
