Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a friendly front counter associate to greet customers, explain services, and manage service tickets. You will coordinate repair schedules with technicians and keep customers informed about costs and timelines.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, basic computer and POS experience, and are comfortable in a fast-paced retail/service environment. Prior tire or service writing experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous experience in sales, service writing, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/service management systems.
• Knowledge of automotive or commercial tire services a plus.
