Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a front counter associate to greet customers and guide them through automotive tire and service options. You will explain services, prepare estimates, and create service tickets in the system, coordinating with technicians to schedule repairs.

The role emphasizes clear communication about costs and timelines, handling payments, and maintaining accurate service records. A friendly, professional demeanor and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous experience in sales, service writing, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/service management systems.
• Knowledge of automotive or commercial tire services a plus.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.
