Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is hiring for a front counter/service writer role in Illinois. You will greet customers, explain available services and promotions, and create service tickets in our system.

You will coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and provide timely status updates, while clearly communicating costs and timelines. The role involves handling payments, completing necessary paperwork, and maintaining organized service records and a clean front counter area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous experience in sales, service writing, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
