Service Writer

Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE

• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage
• Develops estimates for repairs
• Prepares repair orders and enters into system
• Delegates work to technicians
• Explains estimates and repairs to customers
• Maintains unit records
• Participates in educational opportunities
• Performs other duties as directed
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer relations, office admin, or related fields
• Refrigerated transportation or heavy diesel experience preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Ability to meet service goals and deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills
