Job summary

Scorpion Harley-Davidson seeks a friendly Service Writer to join our team in Chandler, AZ. You will greet customers, inspect motorcycles, document issues, and advise on necessary services and costs. Strong communication and a positive attitude are essential.

Applicants should have Powersports or automotive service experience and at least 1 year of commission-based sales experience. Motorcycle endorsement is a plus, and background/MVR checks are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years fuels Powersports or automotive service experience.
• 1+ years commission-based sales experience (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• Motorcycle endorsement preferred.
• Must pass background, MVR, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for repair, maintenance, and recalls.
• Greet customers, inspect motorcycles, and answer questions.
• Document problems on the Repair Order.
• Notify service manager of delays and additional work.
• Advise on services and costs; upsell where appropriate.
• Review and track repairs for quality and timeliness.
• Maintain current qualifications through training.

Scorpion Harley-Davidson is seeking outgoing, friendly individuals to join our Service Team! If you are a positive, upbeat, and interactive Service Writer with a passion for customer service, this opportunity may be perfect for you!

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for repair, maintenance, recall work
• Greet customers, inspect their motorcycles, and answer questions
• Document problems with Motorcycles and clearly describe them on the Repair Order
• Notify the Service Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known, so the customer can be immediately notified
• Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and cost
• Offer additional services and products, including special promotions
• Review Repair Orders in progress to ensure quality and timeliness
• Follow the status of a customer's powersports vehicle from service bay entry through the completion of work
• Communicate any changes in timeline, repairs, or cost to the customer
• Upon completion of work, review the work order with the customer
• Maintain current technical qualifications by completing all training programs assigned by the Service Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1+ years of Powersports, Harley-Davidson, or Automotive Dealership service experience
• 1+ years Commission Based customer-facing sales experience (preferred)
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
• A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
• Pleasant, energetic, conscientious, and dependable personality
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Motorcycle Endorsement preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen
