Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Service Writer for our Orlando, FL location. You will partner with our team to provide quality products to customers in a timely, cost-efficient manner.

Responsibilities include preparing repair orders, communicating with parts and technicians, and maintaining customer rapport while ensuring accurate estimates and scheduling. A fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office and inventory software.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems and services by listening to customer descriptions.
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage; explains provisions.
• Develops estimates by costing materials, labor and handling payments.
• Prepares repair orders describing symptoms, problems and repairs.
• Assists with scheduling work and issuing work to technicians.
• Maintain customer rapport and obtain approvals for estimates.
