Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a front-counter Service Writer in El Paso to greet customers, explain services, and create service tickets. You will coordinate repairs with technicians, provide updates, and discuss costs and timelines.

Responsibilities include processing payments and maintaining records while upholding our service standards. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, health/dental/vision/Life Insurance, PTO, and paid on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous experience in sales, service writing, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS/service management systems.
• Knowledge of automotive or commercial tire services a plus.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime maybe required.
