Sapp Bros., Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Writer to join our Service Writer team. You will greet customers, assist with vehicle inquiries, and write service tickets in a fast-paced diesel maintenance shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior related experience as a service advisor or service writer.
• Experience with typing or keyboarding.
• Physical presence at assigned work site required.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships and deliver prompt, courteous assistance.
• Initiate Lock Out Tag Out procedures on all vehicles in for service.
• Communicate with customers from initial contact through maintenance completion.
• Maintain and contribute to efficient throughput of assigned jobs.
• Operate daily functions to meet customer needs in a timely manner.
• Assign work orders to the appropriate technicians to ensure quality outcomes.
• Handle incoming calls to meet customer expectations professionally and promptly.
• Assist with inventory stocking and parts deliveries as needed.
