Job summary

Clarke Power Services in Memphis is looking for a Service Writer Customer Support Representative to sustain our commitment to excellent customer service. Shift is Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm; Clarke is an industry leader with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will handle customer relationships, solicit additional services, perform data entry, update customers on repairs, write repair orders, and resolve service concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Diesel technician background strongly encouraged.
• ASE certifications encouraged.
• CDL is a plus.
• Ability to build professional relationships with customers.
• Ability to stay self-motivated.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Retail focus – Customer Relationship
• Solicit sale of new or additional services
• Strong Data Entry Skills
• Utilizes computer system for updating customers on ongoing repairs in shop or field, processing service invoices to include warranty claims.
• Communicating with customer in person, over the phone and using computer
• Handle/resolve service-related concerns
• Responsible for writing clear and informative repair orders

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Diesel technician background strongly encouraged
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• ASE certifications strongly encouraged
• CDL is a Plus
• Ability to create professional relationships with customers
• Ability to stay self-motivated

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard
