Job summary

Clarke Power Services, Inc. is hiring a Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Technician on first shift. Earn up to $35/hour plus a $1,500 hiring bonus.

The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing and maintaining trucks and trailers, with duties spanning drivetrain, steering, electrical, engine, suspension, and brake systems. The ideal candidate has diesel repair experience, may have completed a diesel program, and can obtain a DOT medical card. CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diesel Repair experience is required.
• Prefer Diesel Program Technical School completion and minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card
• Valid State Driver's License required
• CDL is preferred

What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Service and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, engine, suspension and brakes.
• Troubleshooting and inspections
• Good computer and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. The associate must be able to read and write reports.

Experience / Education

• Diesel Repair experience is required
