Responsibilities

• Answer internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department.
• Assist in loading and unloading customer equipment.
• Follow a check in /check out process for all customer units.
• Communicate repair timelines and updates with customers.
• Assist in logistics of trucking and related tasks.
• Complete pre- and post-demo/rental/final delivery inspections.
• Verify factory shipping for shortages and equipment condition at delivery.
• Open work orders and maintain control until approved and invoiced.
• Maintain service department records and library with current information.
• Manage warranty bins / service parts returns and oil sample submission.
• Update customer profiles with equipment hours and other data.
• Maintain service accessories and supplies within budget.
• Prepare technician time-management reports.
• Ensure warranty and Product Improvement programs submitted on time for credit.
• Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs.
• Maintain clean, neat work area; follow safety rules.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
