LandPro Equipment is seeking a Service Writer in New York to serve as the communication link between customers and the service team. You will gather service needs, relay updates, and manage work orders to ensure timely, accurate service delivery.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow within a trusted John Deere dealer network across the region.

A Day in the Life of a Service Writer

As a Service Writer, you’re the connection between our customers and our service team.

A typical day includes welcoming customers, understanding their service needs, and making sure everything from work orders to communication with technician runs smoothly. You’ll keep customers informed, coordinate with your team, and help ensure equipment gets back up and running as quickly as possible.

Some days are fast-paced, others require problem-solving but every day gives you the opportunity to make a real impact.

Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: do the job right and take care of the customer.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Writer, you will:

• deliver a high-quality, professional experience at every stage of the service process
• support customers by clearly communicating service needs, timelines, and updates
• open, manage, and close work orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• coordinate with technicians and parts teams to keep work moving efficiently
• build strong relationships with customers and coworkers through clear communication and respect
• help ensure customers leave confident in the service they received
